Meet Your Instructor: Chief Jeffrey Sparks
With nearly five decades of combined military and law enforcement experience, Chief Sparks brings unmatched knowledge and leadership to school safety training. He proudly served in the United States Army for four years before spending 28 years with the Houston Police Department, where he gained extensive experience in patrol operations, crisis response, and community policing.
For the past 16 years, Chief Sparks has led the Shepherd ISD Police Department as Chief of Police, dedicating himself to protecting students, staff, and the greater school community. His passion for proactive safety measures and hands-on training has made him a trusted leader among both law enforcement professionals and educators.
Through this certification course, Chief Sparks shares practical strategies, real-world insights, and the confidence every staff member needs to help secure their campus.
